It’s summer, which means we’re all in need of cool and refreshing drinks to get through the hot days. Whether you’re lounging by the pool, enjoying a night in with some friends, or coming home after a grueling day at the office, these boozey and not-so-boozey drinks are sure to keep you enjoying the heat!

Blackberry Mint Julep

Makes: 1 drink

Ingredients:

    • 2 oz bourbon
    • ½ oz chambord
    • ¾ oz fresh lime juice
    • ½ oz demerara syrup
      • Demerara syrup is just a simple syrup made with brown sugar
    • 5 muddled blackberries
    • 6 mint leaves

Directions:

    • Combine all ingredients in a shaker and shake well
    • Pour over crushed ice and garnish with a mint leaf

Strawberry Crush

Makes: 1 drink

Ingredients:

    • 1 ½ oz vodka
    • 1 oz sour mix
      • ½ oz simple syrup
      • ¼ oz lemon juice
      • ½ oz lime juice
    • 5-6 muddled strawberries
    • (2-3 dashes of rhubarb bitters)
    • Prosecco (to top)

Directions:

    • Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice
    • Pour into your glass of choice and top with Prosecco

Tequila Honey Bee

Makes: 1 drink

Ingredients:

    • Mezcal rinse
    • 2 oz tequila
    • 1 oz honey syrup
      • Honey + water
    • ¾ fresh lemon juice
    • 2 dashes (Angostura) bitters
    • Lemon peel (garnish)

Directions:

    • Shake ingredients well with ice
    • Pour into your glass of choice
    • Add bitters to top

Watermelon Sangria

Makes: 3 - 4 drinks

Ingredients:

    • 4 c cubed watermelon
    • 1750 ml bottle of moscato
    • 1 c rum
    • Juice of 4 limes
    • Zest of 2 limes
    • 1 tbsp sugar
    • Lime slices/blueberries (garnish)

Directions:

    • Combine ingredients in a blender and, once fully blended, pour into glasses.
    • Garnish with a slice of lime and some blueberries and serve!

Mango Mule

Makes: 1 drink

Ingredients:

    • 4-5 slices of cucumber
    • A splash of honey syrup
    • 1.z oz mango puree
    • 1.5 oz lemon juice
    • 1.5 oz ginger beer

Directions:

    • Muddle cucumber and honey syrup in a shaker
    • Add the mango puree and lime juice and shake with ice
    • Pour into your glass of choice and top with ginger beer

Lavender Lemonade

Makes: 3 - 4  drinks

Ingredients:

    • 6 c water
    • ½ c honey
    • ⅓ dried lavender
    • 1 c freshly squeezed lemon juice

Directions:

    • Boil water and honey in a large pot
    • Crush lavender with a mortar and pestle and add to pot
    • Remove pot from heat
    • Cover and refridgerate pot for 2 hours
    • Strain liquid
    • Pour into your pitcher of choice and top with lemon juice
